ATEL Ventures Portfolio Company, ARYx Therapeutics, Inc. Completes Initial Public Offering

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec 5, 2007 - ATEL Ventures, a leading provider of secured financing to emerging growth companies, is pleased to announce that its portfolio company, ARYx Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:ARYX) completed its initial public offering. ARYx Therapeutics, Inc., offering included 5,000,000 shares of its common stock at $10.00 per share in the offering.

ARYx's biopharmaceutical successes had made it a compelling investment choice for ATEL Ventures.
