Craig Taylor Moves Up to Senior Account Executive
Chicago, Ill., Aug. 28, 2013AbelsonTaylor, the largest independent advertising agency in the healthcare field, has promoted Hillary Armstrong to senior account supervisor and Craig Taylor to senior account executive.
Armstrong, a seasoned professional with a background in both agency and medical education work, has worked in a broad range of categories, including hemophilia, cardiology, CNS/mental health, gastroenterology, infectious disease, internal medicine, pain management and rheumatology. In her new position, she will be supervising a portfolio of oncology products and will report to Nadine Fabish, account director.
During her tenure at AbelsonTaylor, she has spearheaded numerous strategic and promotional activities, both print and digital, including product launches, Internet sites, iPad promotions, digital visual aids and convention programs.
She joined AbelsonTaylor in 2011, after a short stint at Discover Chicago, a medical education company part of the Publicis Healthcare Group (PHCG). As senior account manager, she supervised the activities for a variety of brands while forging relationships with top medical experts nationwide.
Armstrong, 30, honed her skills at several Manhattan-based agencies, most recently, as senior account executive at Saatchi & Saatchi Healthcare Advertising, another PHCG company. During her tenure there she managed several large brand initiatives, including multiple product relaunches and multi-million dollar convention executions.
She began her career as an account executive at Euro RSCG Life Chelsea in New York City. There, in addition to working on both HCP and DTP communications, she helped launch a global patient support program.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University, State College, Penn. and lives in Chicago.
As the agency¹s newly appointed senior account executive, Taylor, previously account executive, will be handling a product for the treatment of HIV. He will report to Dan Lathitham, senior account supervisor.
Since joining AbelsonTaylor in 2009, he has worked on products in numerous therapeutic categories, including oncology, diabetes, gastroenterology, insomnia and women¹s health, handling both professional and DTC programs.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and International Business from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in Bloomington.
He is 25 and lives in Chicago.
