AbelsonTaylor Promotes Chelsie Patterson, Mackenzie Macdonald and Laura Kunberger to Account Executive
Chicago, Ill., Sept. 13, 2013 – AbelsonTaylor, the largest independent advertising agency in the healthcare field, has promoted Chelsie Patterson, Mackenzie MacDonald and Laura Kunberger to the position of account executive. They were previously account coordinators.
Chelsie Patterson, who joined AbelsonTaylor last year, has worked on products for the treatment of dyslipidemia, osteoporosis and lupus. She also has experience in the area of genomic health. In her new position, she will be working across four brands in support of cardiology products and will reports to Laura Baumann, account supervisor.
Before coming to Abelson Taylor, Patterson served as an account coordinator for 3Verb, a Chicago-based consumer marketing agency that provides digital, tactical, database, and multimedia services.
In addition to her agency work, Patterson works as a philanthropy team leader and interactive committee director for the Chicago Interactive Marketing Association, where, among other responsibilities, she develops marketing plans with social media and promotional event components.
She graduated with honors from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, Patterson with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Strategic Communication. She is 25 and lives in Chicago.
In her new position, Mackenzie MacDonald will be responsible for two oncology brands and will report to Hillary Armstrong, senior account supervisor.
Since joining AbelsonTaylor in 2011 after graduation from college, she has worked on both digital and print projects, developing website, iPad apps and banner ads for both professional and DTC audiences.
MacDonald holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Michigan State University in East Lansing, and studied international advertising at the American University of Rome during a summer recess. She is 25 and lives in Chicago.
Laura Kunberger, who joined AbelsonTaylor in 2012, has broad experience in the areas of HIV/AIDs, pain management, wound therapy, nutrition and irritable bowel syndrome. In her new position, she will be focusing on a product for the treatment of osteoporosis and will report to Kristin McGirk, account director.
Kunberger mentors students attending middle school through Chicago Lights, a community outreach organization at the Fourth Presbyterian Church.
She is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She also attended the Institute for American Universities in Aix-en-Provence, France, during the spring semester of her junior year.
She is 24 and lives in Chicago.
