Ery-Tab is used in the treatment of chlamydia infection; dental abscess; strep throat; syphilis, early; bowel preparation (and more), and belongs to the drug class macrolides. There is no proven risk in humans during pregnancy.
Ery-Tab 500 mg is not subject to the Controlled Substances Act.
