Is it safe to use advantage on...

Hello. I was just wondering if it was safe to use advantage prescribed for a 11-20lbs dog on a 3 month, 5.5lb dog. Are the doses different or are they the same?

I don't know about prolonged use, but I once mistakenly used Advantage for medium dogs (25 to 50 lbs?) on my 13 lb cat. Oh, did I freak! I called the emergency vet and they told me not to worry about it, they won't overdose. I'm not sure though about long term use, its better to use the correct dosage for your dog's weight.
