My husband found this pill in his son's truck. He had a few of them in a translucent bottle, like one normally gets an rx drug in, with no label. There was no evidence that a label had been peeled off.

The pills are small, yellow, and have five sides. On one side, it is scored down the center. There are no imprints on it that I can see.

The son is a high school athlete. The day the pill was found, he was trying out for an all star team. My husband thinks it may be a steroid, or something that an athlete would take to improve performance.

Does anyone have any ideas on this? I've found pictures of pills that look similar, but they all have imprints. I can't find anything exactly like it.

Usually steroids are imprinted, but maybe not, but we can't tell you without an imprint to go by, sorry. What does your son claim they are?

He claims it's a diuretic. He says the muscle building stuff he takes causes him to retain water. I think the pill actually did have an imprint on it, but it's been worn off. I can see a faint design on it, but I can't make it out.

I found a picture of pink testosterone pills that are very similar, other than the color. It also looks similar to dexomethasone, although I'm not sure why a teen athlete would want that.

It has also been suggested to me that it could be lipodrene? Does anyone know what it is shaped like?
