i found a bunch of chalky tablets that are white and scored. Oddly enough, the only markings on it are a big M or W that takes up most of the pill, and a line. If the marking is an M, the line is under. If the marking is a W, the line is over (might be the Watson Pharmaceutical symbol). the opposite size is scored. They are about the size of percocets, and because generic percocets and analgesics are usually made this size, i am worried. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Someone told me that they might be hydromorphone and he had had them before, but the only hydromorphone tablet pictures i could find had numbers on them and didnt have a line under the M. They were also very very small, and this pill is comparatively large.

As you can imagine searching for such a vague imprint is next to impossible to ID, I went through about 400 pages of M's and found a number of them imprinted only with an M, the only thing that really stood out was "Midol Cramps and Body Aches Formula Tablet", but no image available.
I'm very certain it is not a narcotic of any kind, and as you've noticed Hydromorphone (by Mallinckrodt) is imprinted with an M, but it has a number on the other side.

Sorry, this is one of those that's too vague, I do think it's an M, not a W.
Being scored tells us it is not a CR, but that's not much help.
Maybe if you could post a pic, one of us might recognize the font and be able to ID it for you.

no, the m in midol isnt underlined on the tablet, the back is ingraved with IB, and it wouldnt be scored/isnt scored. usually, perscription analgesics are scored, and i could see why such a powerful one such as hydromorphone would be (2-4 milligram dosage are enough for abuse, and are the common size of pills).
