I found this pill laying around my house while cleaning and I have no clue what it is.

MD 562 is 20mg Methylphenidate Extended Release (Ritalin) is a stimulant. It can improve attention span, concentration, and emotional control, and reduce restless or overactive behavior. This medicine treats attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
