A very small round pill with only a V on it. Someone told him it was a codeine or something like that. What is this pill? Please hurry as my son took it and he also has taken other pills in the last few days. Thanks MaraK. There's a lot of pills imprinted with a V, almost always it has other numbers following it, I would need to know them to give you a positive ID. A V logo most likely belongs to Vintage/Qualitest Pharmaceuticals. Sorry, I can't help you without more info.

Okay my daughterinlaw thinks she remembers the numbers on the other side of that tiny round pill with a V on one side,--- the other side has the numbers 5137 on it. He was told it was a promenthazine and codeine or something like that. Thanks, MaraK.

V 5137 is 25mg Promethazine, an antihistamine/antiemetic (no codeine in it), Promethazine can make you sleepy, it is non narcotic and safe, but that's regardless. Good luck.
