| | strange pill I just recently discovered that a family member is using marijuana. I went snooping through the trash can in the bathroom, to see if I could find any other evidence of other drugs. In a plastic bag, there were several (about 20 or more) white oval shaped pills, with ridges on both sides, on the edges of the pills. They have no identification marks. what could they be? Recently the family member was complaining about their hair falling out in handfulls. Is there a possibility that this could be meth?!! |

Sorry, but there is no way for us to ID a pill that has no imprint. The only possible way to know what your pill is would be to have it tested at a lab.
All meds in the US (Rx and OTC) are required by law to carry a unique imprint for ID purposes. Lack of an imprint means your pill could possibly be foreign, a vitamin, or an illicit substance.
They could be anything, No imprint = No ID |

| | You could maybe put meth in a capsule, but you said oval shaped. There are no meth amphetamine pills to my knowledge, amphetamine yes but it will have a marking.

| It is possible that methampetamine pills could be illicitly pressed in the same way as MDMA and other drugs.
But the bottom line is, it could be absolutely anything. Only way to know would be to take it to a lab. |

| | I seriously doubt that someone would throw away a drug that at the very least would fetch $5 a pill on the street.
If you really wanna know, take it to a lab, or continue with your unfounded suspicions.

| | | There is a methamphetamine pill available by prescription called Desoxyn. It is usually only prescribed for people with severe narcolepsy though and even then it is very rare to find a physician willing to write for it. It is indicated for exogenous obesity, ADHD, and obesity, though it is highly controlled and given in very small doses. It does have a marking just like all other Rx medications. I have never heard of anyone putting street meth in a pill form though.
Here is a link to info regarding Desoxyn: http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic2/methamphetamine.htm |

Yes, they are available, but they contain imprints and are not capsules. They are round tablets. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
