I'm trying to identify a small round blue or green pill (looked green at first, but now looks like it might be blue) imprinted with GG over 44 on one side. The other side is blank. Anyone out there with a clue?

Just saw a post from this forum dated 10/06/2004 identifying a small round green pill imprinted with GG over 44 as 25 mg of Amitriptyline. I'm confused. My first bottle of 25 mg of Amitriptyline was yellow and imprinted with 2102 over V. Are there different colors of the 25 mg tablet with different things imprinted on them? How can I be sure it's the right drug? (Other than asking the pharmacy tomorrow ... they're closed right now and I don't want to take the wrong pill).

Someone just identified this pill for me. It's 25 mg of Amitriptyline made by Sandoz; my previous yellow pills were 25 mg of Amitriptyline made by Qualitest. I had no idea the same pill could be different colors with different letters/number imprinted on it. Very confusing for consumers.
