Default round white NP on one side, blank on the other

I found this in my sons closet. Do you know what it could be?

I'm not sure about this one, but I think it's something from Mexico.

If your son possibly has access to meds from Mexico or South America, please reply. And then I'll give you my best guess.

    Okay, thanks.

It might be Neo-Percodan made by Aventis in Mexico. This is only a guess.

I've never seen one but have read about it on forums. Some posters on other boards describe it as round, white with NP on it and nothing else. One poster described it as NP above a score on one side, nothing on the other. A couple of posters described it as round, white with tan flecks, marked NP! So who knows. [?]

Neo-Percodan is a mild narcotic pain med. It contains 500 mg acetaminophen and 65 mg propoxyphene. It's maybe a little stronger than Darvocet-N 50.

Neo-Percodan is usually touted by Mexican pharmacies as Percodan or Percocet - which it's not.

And then again NP could be something entirely different. For example, there is a US-made special vitamin combination marked NP, but that pill is oval.
