You are right wizard. It is oxycodone hydrochloride extended release 40 mg. Also known as OxyFast® or Roxicodone®.
As to why it gives you a headache and does nothing for your pain I don't know. Maybe it is old and beyond it's expiration date. Some drugs that have expired are known to do that. I had the same problem years ago with some hydros. I bought 50 of them and found out later (only after they did nothing and gave me a headache) that they were over 7 years old. Have to be careful.
