    Default Round blue/purple pill e 72

My mom recently got a perscription for what was supposed to be lovastatin for her cholesterol. She just noticed tonight that the paper on it her doctor had a description of what the pill should look like that does not match the pill the pharmacy gave her at all. The pills are small and round and have an "E 72" mark on them and are blue/puplish blue. I looked at the pill identifier on this site and couldn't find anything that matched it. Any ideas?

E 72 is 20mg Lovastatin, a different generic then the doctors paper described.
