Vintage and Qualitest (same company) use the V imprint and make a lot of medications. Only a few are
hydrocodone/APAP combos.
Vicodin is a brand name for 5 mg hydrocodone and 500 mg APAP made by another company, and the pill says Vicodin on it. But it seems many people call all hydrocodone combos "Vicodin."
For future reference, V 3591 to V 3601 are hydrocodone combos (but no V 3593 or V 3599 yet). So if the V pill isn't in that range of numbers, it's not a "Vicodin" type pill.
