I haven't been able to independently verify the ID of your pill, but I can tell you a lot of times our databases don't have images, we'll punch in the color/shape/imprint and it'll tell us the drug name. We, just like you want to see an image, we take identifying pills very seriously, sometimes we can only relay the info given to us, and take for granted that it's correct. We double check various bases when possible.
We would love it if all the drug Mfr's gave us images, unfortunately a lot of them don't.
Kirby's ID'd more pills then anyone on the www, you can almost bet your ass her ID is correct. -
Cats, thanks for the vote of confidence!
Monte, I can't find an image of this particular pill but it's carbamazepine 200 mg per two subscription databases. Here is the description of 533 from Caraco's package insert on file with the FDA:
Carbamazepine Tablets USP, 200 mg are available in the following form: pink colored, capsule shaped, biconvex tablets with ‘533’ debossed on one side and scored on the other side.
You can view the entire insert at: http://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed...518#nlm34069-5
