Default oxycodone er 80mg

I just had a hip replacement almost 8 weeks ago now and ran out of my pain medicine and i can't get into my doctor till tomarrow. so my friend gave me this White and Gray capsule he said it was a 80 mg oxycodone extended release but i never seen it in a capsule before but he said that its in a capsule cause the pharmacy puts it together or something cause he can't afford the others so they give him these cause of no insurance. Has anyone ever heard of these before in White and Gray Capsules oxycodone er 80mg???
If anyone could help out as soon as possible i would very much appreciate it thanks:confused

Pharmacies do make specially compounded capsules, they don't have imprints, but it makes no sense to do the work making compounded caps of commercially available drugs, they only make them when it's a strength not available. There's also no caps of oxy er because it would defeat it's controlled release. Your friend doesn't know what he's talking about, it may not even be a drug at all, I'm thinking herbal, not compounded. Even if you said it was an IR, I would say "I doubt it".
Compounded pills cost more, his not having insurance and having them made makes no sense. He sounds like he's full of krap.

thanks for the reply, i don't think its herbal its some kind of pain pill cause it helped with my hip, i just hope he didn't give me some kind of street drug or anything like that, but you are right it doesn't have imprints on it and the compound stuff inside is purple whatever that means, its suppose to be generic.. but i didn't think capsules could be extended release ethier, but what do i know im not a pharmacist or anything. He also could be full of krap like you said, and might think they are extended release, cause i asked him are they extended release when he gave it to me and he said i think so, so he could be mistakin on that part or on all of it
