Question Orange diamond when it should be Orange Shield??

I've been perscribed Lamictal for a second time. When I first got my meds they matched the Drugs.com pictures, an orange shield shape with Lamictal 100 stamped. Now, I've supposedly gotten the same pill, but they look completely different, and don't have Lamictal anywhere on the pill.
A picture will be provided. Is this a generic for Lamictal - I wasn't aware that the patent had expired- or am I getting something else entirely?

For those who cannot see the above picture, they're an orange diamond with one side scored, a nine to the left of the score and a three to the right. On the other side is "463".

Nice image!

Yes, it's lamotrigine 100 mg (generic Lamictal).

Looks like Teva (the manufacturer of your tablet) has 18 months for exclusive marketing of the generic. There are several other manufacturers who are approved to market the generic when Teva's exclusive period expires.
