Default New Fexofenadine HCL, generic / R 193 imprint

My pharmacy just switched their source for generic Fexofenadine HCL. They formerly had the Teva tablets (Fexofenadine HCL 60 mg). Last week they gave me something new from another manufacturer.

The pink tablet is shaped like a flattened football. On one side there is a simple capital letter R, nothing logo-ish about it, just a plain R. On the other side there's the number 193.

I can’t find this listed on any of the usual websites. RxList’s search facility shows “Dipyridamole 25 mg – Persantine – Purepac” as the pill with these imprints, but describes it as a white round tab. That seems curious in itself, that there are two pills out there with the same imprints, thoiugh perhaps their "R" isn't an actual R.

I've tried the search facility on this forum but find nothing that relates to this particular pill.

Normally I wouldn't care, but this one gives me side effects like no other version of Fexofenadine that I've had, & I'm trying to figure out why. I will of course talk to the pharmacy, but I'd like to have independent information too.

Can anyone tell me who manufactures this version of Fexofenadine HCL?

Thanks.

It is the correct med. Just a new generic made by Dr. Reddy's lab.

The reason the databases aren't showing anything for your pill is because it is new. The databases are only updated approx. every six months.

Rxlist isn't that great of a database anyway. Plus the purepac logo is a distinct logo unlike your R.

My last refill of fexofenadine is making me really sick to my stomach. It is manufactured by Dr. Reddy's Lab. What kind of symptoms are you having?
