    Default Need info on seroquel 100

    I would like to know why someone might have these pills. Are they taken only when prescribed or would someone ever take this drug recreationally? Thank you for any help that you can give.

    SEROQUEL is prescribed for the treatment of acute manic episodes associated with bipolar I disorder and the treatment of schizophrenia.

    Yes, some people do take these recreationally as downers and sometimes they are used to counteract the effects of other drugs like speed or cocaine.
