ID please??: ritalin OR Rohypnol I think...Ciba/AB

Received a package from an old college pal and inside were a few round white pills marked as such:

it is a a small, round white tablet with CIBA in all capital letters on one side (no score) BUT then it is scored perfectly down the middle on the other side. On one half of the score is a capital A; on the other side of the score is a capital B.

Any information / input you would happen to have would be greatly appreciated folks. Thanking you in advance for you for your time...

It may possibly be an old imprint.
It is described as blue, looks to be very pale blue.
