Saw your notice about a pill with a strange V. I too am looking to identify a pill that has what I thought was the square root symbol. It has the numbers 2140. Does your V look like the square root symbol?

I called a pharmacist who said that the V or square root number meant nothing to her. They suggested that I call poison control since apparantly they know all pills. I plan to try that. If your V is similar, I will let you know what I learn.

Pharmacists are so lazy when it comes to IDing pills, he/she should have immediately known you were describing a V for Qualitest (Vintage).

V 3170 is 40mg Furosemide (Lasix), a diuretic.

Cheerleader, gazing into my crystal ball I predict your imprint is actually V 2410, which is 350mg Carisoprodol (generic Soma) a muscle relaxant.

Hi,

Amazingly, I was given a prescription today with a weird "v" on it that matched the "v" "square root" I was looking for. I determined that the manufacturer is Qualitest. Interestingly, they are the 8th largest generic pharmaceutical company in the US.
