Default GLUCOPHAGE

I purchased GLUCOPHAGE over the internet to be used for TYPE II
diabetes. The markings on this are "500" and "MS 6063." This
pill is slightly different in shape and color than my prescribed
GLUCOPHAGE which has the markings "500" and an hourglass and "4035."

I am trying to determine the comparative ingredients in these two
pills.

Can you help?

Thank you!

The pill you have received is GLUCOPHAGE XR 500 MG
Generic Name Metformin
Imprint Code BMS 6063 / 500
Description white, oblong tablet
You will find an image at the bottom of the PDR page for Glucophage XR at http://www.drugs.com/PDR/Glucophage_XR_Tablets.html
Info at http://glucophage.xr.drugs.com

my prescribed GLUCOPHAGE which has the markings "500" and an hourglass and "4035."
Could you please double check the imprint on this pill? I can't find anything that matches 4035. The Ivax generic version of Glucophage XR has an imprint of an hourglass and 4435/ 500

Thanks
