Default Found a pill in sons pants

I found an oblong ivory colored pill stamped "EC" on one side, with what looks like a lower case "e" stamped on the other. Before I ask him about it, I would like to know what it is. He is a high school athlete....a good kid....any ideas?

The pill is possibly Ery-Tab (erythromycin) EC Tab 250 mg
Manufacturer: ABBOTT
Imprint 1: EC
Imprint 2: abbott logo
Color: white
Shape: oval
Coating: enteric-coated

There is an image of this pill at the very bottom of the PDR page for Ery-Tab at Drugs.com
http://www.drugs.com/PDR/Ery_Tab_Tablets.html
Only one side of the pill is pictured (the side with the Abbott logo) so it is worth having a look to see if it is similar to the pill you found.

This drug is a commonly prescribed antibiotic (you'll be pleased to know)
Info at http://erythromycin.drugs.com
