If someone can help me it would be appreciated. Small flat white round pill with M in a square on one side and 5 on the other. Thanks!!!!

There are two pills that match your description.

Does the pill have a score line on the side with the "5"?

No score at all, just 5 on one side and the M in a box on the other

Round white unscored tablet with M in a box on one side and a 5 centered on the other side is 5 mg Methylin (methylphenidate), generic Ritalin.
