It seems that I may have stumbled upon a crooked employee at my local Rite Aid. Last week I filled my prescription for
Hydrocodone 7.5-750. Today I let one sit in my mouth a little longer and noticed a different taste. After inspecting the pills I noticed that they were very smooth compared to the normal chaulky type and they were unmarked except for the the indent bar in the center. Note: These pills look just like the normal vicodin. When I went to the store, the technician said that they were not the correct prescription and did not know what they were except that it could be a vitamin? She said she would look into things and call me after investigating. However, she re-filled my presciption and said she would make a report. When I came home....I counted them and realized that I was 11 short. I called them back and the technician assured me that she counted them twice and that I should have the complete 60. As of right now she is going to have the pharmacy manager call me on Monday. Can anyone tell me what the mystery pills might have been / what appropriate action I should be taking?
