I found this in a mixture of pills in my daughter's purse. The tablet appears to be coated, and I am assuming it is time-released because there is not scoring at all. Any ideas, kid says shes had a while and doesn't know either![?]

Round yellow tablet imprinted C over 120 is 40 mg famotidine, a drug used to prevent heartburn and to reduce acid.

Thanks for the info! I appreciate your help! She gets pills from her friends all the time, (shes in College) Happy to hear it isn't anything dangerous, or narcotic.
