Default butalbital/apap/caffiene

I am a CMA, I recently got a prescription from the ER for Fioricet, prior to the script, I never heard of this medication. They also gave me a script for Norco 10/APAP 325, The question would be, how much acetaminophen is in the Fioricet. Side I: V, Side II 2355 ROUND WITE TABLET. I want to make sure I can take both of these medications together without inducing stomach pains from all the acetaminophen. I have no Gallbladder + ulcers, so anything over 1,000 APAP just kills my stomach BUT this migraine is also too bad for just one pill of the Norco or Fioricet to fix, so I thought a combo would work better. Anyways, if anyone has any accurate information with a website or something, that would be great. Thanks.

If you're wondering, the bottle says nothing about how much the pills contains of each ingredient as usual. The Norco bottle says , 10/APAP325, the Fioricet says nothing about amounts.

This pill contains 325 mg acetaminophen. Total ingredients are 325 mg acetaminophen, 50 mg butalbital and 40 mg caffeine. This is a commonly prescribed med for tension headaches.

You can find more information and an image of your pill at Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA:

I'm not a doctor or pharmacist, but I'd be leery of taking generic Fioricet at the same time with Norco. The acetaminophen is below your tolerable level, but it's probably not a good idea to combine hydrocodone (Norco) with the butalbital (Fioricet) unless the doctor directed you to take both at the same time.

I take Fioricet and percocet/vicodin (whatever one I am subscribed at the time) together all the time, I usually take a couple of both and it doesn't affect my stomach and I have a lot of stomach issues. But I only take Fioricet once or twice a day. Also you should call your pharmacist who filled these scripts and the could tell you.
