    There is not supposed to be a difference, and the main ingredients are the same. Unfortunately, most of the generics are manufactured in Mexico, China and a few other unsavory places where the FDA isn't up their butt - so the potency can vary tremendously. When the FDA does spot-check the medication, it is deemed 'acceptable' as long as it is +/- 20% of the name brand. Always best to try to find name-brand, as long as your insurance doesn't gouge the >>>> out of you for it.
