5B4 round white tablet

Hi,
My son is trying to come off heroin and he has been given some 'codeine' tablets by a 'friend' to help him. We want to make sure of what he is taking. They are round and white scored once on one side and 5B4 imprinted on the other.
Hoping someone can help.
