Hi,
I had a question about a pill marked A283 and was directed to Able Laboritories. They can be contacted at (908) 754-2253. Sorry, but dont have any more info to offer. Hope it helps!

Hi!

Able Laboratories' generic Carisoprodol (equivalent of Watson's branded "Soma") - a muscle relaxant that works by blocking nerve impulses (or pain sensations) that are sent to the brain. Prescribed for pain caused by skeletal muscle spasm, sprains, etc. Precautions similar to aspirin and codeine. Search more details under "carisoprodol" on Drugs.com.

Note: Able did a partial recall of this tablet in April, 2003, because some pills were wrongly imprinted A265 instead of A266.
