[Rushlight]

I work a drug dog, and during the inspection of a school I came across a discarded pill.

It was actually 1/2 of a tablet, pink coated, white interior. "RX" inprinted on the upper left side, nothing on bottom of that side. It was rectangular with rounded ends and flat "seam" around it.

It sounds like you're missing half of the imprint, I did find this, take a look

RX 763 is 875mg Amoxicillin

If that's not it, you'll have to do the work, and go through the list and look at every pill that starts with RX that's pink and oblong, and hope you find it.

That looks like it. I wasn't expecting it to be an antibiotic. I was actually thinking Darvocet or something similar. Kids take lots of perscription narcotics, and our dogs hit on them (tho my dog didn't hit on this -- being amox explains why now). Kids will throw stuff like this, anyway, cuz they don't know exactly what the dogs will hit on. They just feel the guilt and chunk what they know they shouldn't have. <shrug>
