I have just been diagnosed with a herniated disk from MRI..

I am one a one week dose of steriods and they suggested I not take the Vicodin during this time.

I am inday three and the pain is HUGE...can I take the two together without any serious side effects?

Gene ... they are trying to find what will actually help the condition and not just mask the pain. I would give them the week they ask for and see what they say at that time. Or call the dr and see what they say prior to taking the pain meds. Keep us posted. God bless.
