Default tooth abscess--HELP!!

It is SATURDAY and I can't find an emergency dentist in my area. Will a medrol dose pack help with the inflammation from the abscess along with
Augmentin 875/125 twice daily for the infection until I can see a dentist? This is like the umpteenth time I have and an abscessed tooth in my 43 years, usually I am prescribed Clindamycin, Pen-vee-K, Keflex or Amoxil from past experience. I am asking, because I have Medrol/ Augmentin on hand. Thanks for any help anyone can give me.
