I was on a low dose of Adderall for Shift Work Sleep Disorder. My doctor, for various reasons, put me on (Provigil) modafinil (250mg x 2/day). After about two months he switched me back because it wasn’t working for my diagnosed problem. However, something else very beneficial happened during my time on (Provigil) modafinil, my vision gradually improved to a point where I didn’t need to ware my glasses.
I am near-sighted and have been wearing glasses for about 15 years. My prescription is 3.75 in both eyes and I must ware them to drive. I want to know if there is research supporting this or has anyone else had the same effect?
