[MIGRAINES2]

I was given Nortriptyline (10mgs) by my Neurologist yesterday (5/12/09) for severe migraine headaches and to help with sleeping and told to increase the dosage by 10mgs. each to a maximum of 40mgs. at h.s. by week 4.

I experienced severe gas pains and diarrhea the entire night. Is this normal??? Does my system need to adjust to the medication.

I now have a fear about taking again tonight.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.:

I was just given 10mg too - but I am not certain if I will take them at all....
