Default Microsopic colitis--diarrhea--Entocort EC

I was diagnosed with microspcopic colitis (also known as lymphatic or collagenous colitis) 25 years ago. The diarrhea finally subsided for a number of years, but for the past 13-14 months, it has returned full-force. None of the usual drugs seem to make any difference.

My gastroenterologost finally started me on Entocort EC (budesonide)
today. All I can find is references to using it in Crohn's disease. Anybody have any ideas? If it really will help, I'm all for it, but it's pretty expensive.
