I have a client that has been on lithium for many years and is very stable. She is on 900mg. Dr. is concerned about the long term use of lithium so has decreased the dosage to 675mg. We have been seeing some of her old behaviors appearing slightly. Spoke with Dr. and he does not want to increase her lithium. What concerns do others have with the use of lithium long term?
