Higher Blood Pressure Due to Meds? I have recently noticed that the last 4 or 5 times I have had my blood pressure taken that it is higher than usual, my normal is like 90 over 65, but it's now 140 over 86? I read some info I printed from your website about Anafranil and Dexadrine increasing blood pressure. This happened to me long ago when I was on Effexor and I had to go off? I can't go off the Anafranil, I don't dare and I do not want to go off the Dexadrine (sp?) and my Dr. said he "didn't want to put me on blood pressure meds. yet". And believe me when I say I don't want to go on any other meds! I'm on enough stuff now! Also, I'm going to be 49 in May and I've gained 22 lbs(I used to always be little, 110 lbs at most.) because I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Narcolepsy and RLS and I'm in the bed most of the time. Is there a diet that would help this situation? I do not want to go toxic on my small amount of Eskalith (just 1 at 450 mgs) and I love unfortunately sugar and salt, especially after dealing with a serious case of candida for 2 1/2 years which I am now being treated for? Thank you Drugs.com! Blessings-DoeSerena
