I took it for about 4 months and stopped all of a sudden. This was a few years back but I honestly do not remember any symptoms associated with stopping "cold turkey". Maybe other people have issues when quitting this way but for myself, nothing at all.
I was also on 40mg a day so the dosing may make a difference.
