Am I safe to have unprotected safe with my boyfriend while on depo? We've both been checked for STD's AIDs and HIV but I am strongly concerned about having unprotected sex and getting pregnant. I understand using a condom would decrease the likeliness of me getting pregnant but we are wondering how risky it would be if we had intercourse and did not use a condom. Is the shot that effective?

its supposed to be the most effective thing out there. if you use shot and condom then you should be ok. not even plan B is 100 percent. my wife has 2 pill baby's. we have been 11 years with depo and no baby. Remember condoms break, leak and come off sometimes. even men who have been tied or women who have been tied have had baby's.
