Default darvocet

hi folks.....probably a dumb question but here it is.
I currently take "darvocet-N 100" for pain. the tablet appears to be marked normally and is the orange/red color. the "color" immediately comes off the tablet once wet. i was curious with all the news about "fake drugs" going around. is that normal? is the tablet white with a very thin orange/red dye around it. any input would be appreciated.
thanks...

Yes, your orange pill is a generic form of Darvocet. I am not a pharmacist but this is what my M.D. prescribed to me and I authorized the generic form at the pharmacy. The dye does come off easily when wet. I've noticed that the back of my tongue is orange after swallowing the pill.
