I've been using Ocupress for the succesful control of intraocular pressure for several years. My opthomologist prefers my using this brand-name product over the generic forms of carteolol because of preservatives and other contents found in the generic forms. Recently, however, there has been a rumor that Ocupress--the real thing--was soon to go out of production. My opthomologist wasn't entirely sure of this, but suggested a switch to
Istalol, just in case. I have had some problems with the Istalol, however, and wonder if the rumor about the continued availability of Ocupress is true.
Can anyone in the know provide some positive information in this matter? I've also posted this message on the "General" board but seemingly to no avail. I hope the double post does not upset anyone.
