Default ciprodex

I have a patient in my Mental Health/Chemical Dependency TreatmentProgram who has been free of abused substances for 9 months. His last urine tox screen showed positive for cocaine metabolites. He is prescribed ciprodex otic suspension for a chronic middle ear infection. He swears the tox screen reflects this prescribed med and says this has happened to him previously. Lab does not know of a reason this prescription would effect the tox screen. Is there any other information to the contrary?
