Default can you buy just a partial script at a time?

i have a new perscription and was going to buy the brand name this time.what i want to know is,the script is pretty expensive, will the pharmacist let you buy a partial script and buy the rest at a later date? or do you have to buy them all at once? it is an anti-anxiety med.

It's going to depend on store policy, some will allow it. For most drugs it really isn't worth it to buy name brand, but all generics are not equal, consult the Orange Book for therapeutically equivalent comparison, I doubt it's worth it for antianxiety meds.

depends on the schedule.

Schedules3-5 Pharmacy can fill as many times as you need.

In Florida, there is a strict "Use it or Loose it" policy for CII's.. Meaning, If you only want 10 of your 30 Adderrall's then you wont be able to get any more off of that perscription..

For CIII-V, you have a 6 Month expiration time and we can do "Partial Fills" for any amount -- granted, you have enough left on that Rx to fill the desired quantity..
