    Default Can pills get old

I found percocet that was made in 1988 . I was wondering can they get old or do they last for a long time? What happens if you eat it? If you know the answer let me know!

    thanks

    Hi,

All medications expire. I won't suggest you taking the Percocet tablet which was made 17 years ago because it has probably lost its activity. You may obtain similar products like panadine in pharmacies without a prescription anyway, so you'd better throw your old drugs away.
