Default 2 different pill in Lipitor Rx form CVS

Last night my husband went to take his Lipitor that he picked up from CVS a few hours earlier. In the bottle was the Lipitor (large white oval pill) and another pill that is oval in shape, orange, with a funky E 102. I called CVS he told me it's another Cholesterol drug and had no idea why or how the other prhamisist put it in with the Lipitor. He said the name but all I know it it begins with an L, I looked for it but can not find it.

Well I call CVS back and was told it was Lisinopril, a BP medication.
The head prhamisist has no idea how it happened. At first my husband thought they ran out of Lipitor and substituted a generic but I told him that is against the law to sub for a name brand without the Dr's ok. I'm just glad we picked up on it, he's already on a BP med.
Not sure what dept I need to call on this, but I'm starting with the health dept, I'm sure they can tell me what to do. It needs to be reported no matter what. This mistake he said got past 2 or 3 people. No excuse I say!

Report it to the Board of Pharmacy in your state. They will investigate.
