Question Need info on breeding my dog

I was told that there is something going around called babesia. How can I protect my female from getting it during breeding with a stud dog? Since I have found out that alot of vets don't even check dogs for that,so the owners might not know. Also if a stud dog has it would it be passed too the pups also ? I realy just want to find out so I know ahead of time. One person told me that a drug called imizol injected into the female before breeding protects her and the pups. But I want to hear if this is true, and also if so were can you get it,And what is the C.C. dose to give a female?

Default Dose any one know where I can ask this Question on here?

It seems like alot of people have viewed it but noone has answers. If it wasn't for my son wanting pups of his dog. I wouldn't breed her. He has won alot of trophy's and ribbons at the dog shows with her and wants 1 litter off her. He is hopin to make her a GRand champ like his other dog is.

I've never heard of this problem, but I've never bred any any of my animals. Why don't you ask your vet about this? I'm sure they would have the info you need.
