Default Can anything be done after Hearing Loss attributed to Otomax?

My 10 year old Yorkie was treated with Otomax for 7 days for an ear infection and is now nearly deaf. The vet said it's usually temporary. has anyone else had this happen and was their pet's hearing restored? Is there anything I should be doing to help. The vet flushed his ears three days ago to get ride of any residual ointment, but still he has no hearing...
