Default Any need to separate Alumn.Hydrox.from NutriVed?

I have a 13 yr. kitty w/ chronic renal failure, 3 mos. post dx. I am starting her on NutriVed (contains iron) very soon, but need to know if I need to separate dosing of NutriVed from any meds, especially the Alum.Hyrdox.gel powder for phosph. binder. Someone suggested that would be necessary to prevent 'blockers' from reducing absorption of iron. To my knowledge Misty does not have iron deficiency OR high iron stores, although she is anemic.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks!
